Role-player in English wants to role-play in Russian now Опции

I hope you don't mind me typing in English. I just want to explain myself clearly.

I'm an experienced role-player, NWN enthusiast and past Dungeon Master. I've been doing it for 9 years. For the last few months I've started studying Russian, and now I want to try my Russian in your server. I plan to role-play a stupid half-orc so my poor Russian would be appropriate to the character.

The reason I started this thread is to ask if you're okay with me playing in your server despite my poor Russian? And while I'm at it, where do I put the TXI files that I download?

You can type in Russian, I'll understand

Sorry, but where did you get TXT files? You need only NWN itself, update 1.69 and haks with tlk.

Hello.
Sure, you can register and play on our server.
The package with txi and tga files is Russian fonts package: without it, the game won't show russian letters. Copy these in your override folder.
After you've downloaded and unpacked the haks, post your Bioware account here for us to register your account in our database, and you'll be able to log in and play.

Wait, I got it. Archive named "nwn_rus_fonts" has TGA and TXI files. These are russian fonts for NWN, they should be placed in override folder.

I really like your gameworld, though I find my Russian is too poor to properly role-play. Although I just recently glued in Russian letters to my keyboard (otherwise it takes me forever to type something). Talking to NPC's is really hard. I've taken many screenshots and trying to interpret it in the meanwhile. It's been kinda fun an it's mostly what I've been doing. The one time Felor tried to talk to me I still didn't have my Russian letters properly glued so it took me a long time to type, but I was able to understand what he wrote




Can I ask one question? I tried building a module with Russian text but from some reason I can't type in Russian when I use the NWN toolset. Can anyone help me with that? I including the Russian.tlk and your haks in the module properties, just in case.

Some corrections for your help (sorry if my English too poor)
"окценту" was the mistake, really it was "акценту", i.e. emphasis (accent?) and it was the "*smiled a strange emphasis*" (accent?)
"* Shaky * usual name" was nearer in the meaning to "*glanced* unusual name..."
Under the "obelisk" implied "the wand with the cross icon in your inventory" (it can be used for name changing (example: from standart "Незнакомец" to "Фелор"))
"*Делая призывный жест рукой* пойдем за мной, заа-мной" was nearer in the meaning to "*makes an invocation gesture* Go with me wiiith-me (it was an attempt to imitate your orc' emphasis (accent?)"
"emphasis":"приии-вет" can be interpreted as emphasis, if you want to use elongated pronunciation use the following form: [word until elongation][Group [vowel]+[hyphen] (it's elongation, example "При-и-и-ивет")][word since elongation]

So I finally make sure I know where are all russian letters are on the keyboard, I even fixed my log file to show up in Russian o I could practically instantly understand what you say, and I even improved my russian a bit with basic terms and phrases.


But did you all quit playing?!?? Not even in the evening do I see anyone logged!
